Airport Transportation by Town
Wilmington International Airport is about 45 to 50 minutes from Surf City. The route to Topsail Beach or North Topsail Beach is about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Your driver follows the flight, so a delay does not change the pickup.
You can also reserve transportation from Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte or Myrtle Beach International. Both the SUV and the buses have room for a group and its luggage.
Car Service Across Two Island Bridges
Topsail Island includes Topsail Beach at the southern end, Surf City in the middle and North Topsail Beach at the northern end. NC 50 and NC 210 connect the island with the mainland.
We route by the actual address, not a single island-wide estimate, because the bridge you cross and the minutes on the drive change depending on which town a rental sits in. A Surf City pickup and a North Topsail Beach pickup are not the same trip even though both say Topsail Island.
Party Bus and Group Transportation for Reunions
A reunion here can spread guests across several rental houses rather than one hotel, and moving that many people to dinner or an outing is the actual coordination problem. Run all three buses together and that is 42 guests on one schedule, 54 with both SUVs added, wherever on the island the group is staying.
A group can reserve transportation for a mainland dinner, an airport transfer or another outing during the week. Each trip follows the pickup time provided with the reservation.
Rides Off the Island to Downtown Wilmington
A party bus carries a group from Topsail Island to downtown Wilmington for restaurants, breweries or concerts. A private party can reserve the chauffeured Escalade instead.
